Thanks to a wonderful friend of mine (who happens to be an amazing make-up artist), I have found the cure to softer lips and a smoother application of lipstick. It's something that she told me many people do to exfoliate dry lips, so I decided to try this out myself!
First things first, grab the goods:
Second, mix 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 2 tablespoons of white sugar. Stir together until it creates a thick paste-like substance:
Next, apply to lips with the tip of your index finger or a toothbrush
to rid of any dead skin. Pack the leftover mixture into a tiny container
( I just bought a few from PEARL PAINT near Soho). They close tightly,
so your new lip exfoliator won't dry out! Sweet. huh?!
Final results:
