Thanks to a wonderful friend of mine (who happens to be an amazing make-up artist), I have found the cure to softer lips and a smoother application of lipstick. It's something that she told me many people do to exfoliate dry lips, so I decided to try this out myself!

First things first, grab the goods:

Second, mix 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 2 tablespoons of white sugar. Stir together until it creates a thick paste-like substance:

Next, apply to lips with the tip of your index finger or a toothbrush to rid of any dead skin. Pack the leftover mixture into a tiny container ( I just bought a few from PEARL PAINT near Soho). They close tightly, so your new lip exfoliator  won't dry out! Sweet. huh?!

Final results:
Silky smooth lips =]
BTW: If anyone happens to be looking for someone to do their makeup for an event, Sasha's my girl! You can check out her website (http://www.makeupbysashamarie.com/) and contact her! She is amazing at what she does, no doubt!

In This Skin

“I am Me. In all the world, there is no one else exactly like me. Everything that comes out of me is authentically mine, because I alone chose it -- I own everything about me: my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or myself. I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears. I own my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes. Because I own all of me, I can become intimately acquainted with me. By so doing, I can love me and be friendly with all my parts. I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me, and other aspects that I do not know -- but as long as I am friendly and loving to myself, I can courageously and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles and ways to find out more about me. However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time is authentically me. If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought, and felt turn out to be unfitting, I can discard that which is unfitting, keep the rest, and invent something new for that which I discarded. I can see, hear, feel, think, say, and do. I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive, and to make sense and order out of the world of people and things outside of me. I own me, and therefore, I can engineer me. I am me, and I am Okay.”

Welcome to the Cosmos

Thank you Instagram! I started following a fashion profile on Instagram and it lead to a few great clothing sites, my favorite being romwe.com. They have very delightful graphic tees, and this amazing galaxy print skirt I am wearing! =] I purchased the asymmetric skirt, but they also have the Mysterious Universe Tulip Skirt that is to die for! AND, its only $33! Pairing it with my boyfriend's Curve Ball Tour t-shirt and my black lace-up boots, I dragged my butt to school. Thank god it's my last semester!  #GoingOutWithABang or better yet, #Don'tMindTheMessBehindMe

Truly Madly Deeply

Truly Madly Deeply- I am not talking about the Savage Garden lyrics either! You know, the song that goes like this, "I want to stand with you on a mountain, I want to bathe with you in the sea..." What I am referring to is the brand of graphic tees and tanks that are driving me insane (in a good way)! This shirt I am wearing is one of my favorite muscle tees, and you can pair it with any lace bra- seriously it looks hot! Some people find it trashy, but really who gives a damn. Truly Madly Deeply can be found on Polyvore.com or any Urban Outfitters store, so they are easy to find. These shirts are "Batass", period.

Weird Science

Has anyone else been completely blown away by the fashion statement Kelly Lebrock made in the John Hughes film Weird Science?? Crop tops, studded leather jackets and cuffs, denim, lace tights, and sequins dresses are something every girl should own as of now. Lebrock's style is versatile and kick-ass, and there is no way we can't make it look just as good!
